  • Comments Thread For: Erickson Lubin Staying Busy on 2/7, 2/22 and 3/7

Young welterweight prospect Erickson Lubin could potentially be fighting three times over the course of one month, if all goes well, according to his manager, Henry Rivalta.

“I’m going to keep Erickson very busy,” Rivalta said. “He’s very well worth it, and he’s a badass fighter, man.”

Lubin is scheduled to open up the broadcast of the Feb. 7 episode of ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” in Chicago. He will face Roberto Acevedo, a 13-12-3 (1 KO) fighter who lost to Adrien Broner by a fourth-round technical knockout in January 2010.

Yo Mr. D, you funny mang!

"BoxRec also shows Acevedo with losses to Ray Robinson (not the famous one)"

Anyway, if the fights aren't too physically demanding then why not. Good luck to him.

We'll see if it actually happens. Feel like there was a similarly ambitious schedule for Anthony Joshua in the U.K. before he got sidelined by injury.

        And thanks!

I can't wait to see Lubin in the ring again. I love knockouts.

I just wish I could see him throw down a couple of rounds instead of a couple of seconds. But I like the kid.
