This has the potential to cause a rift between Floyd and Broner.
If Floyd takes Maidana Broner may take offense to that since he wanted the rematch right away.
But if Floyd takes Khan he is basically saying that he thinks Chino will win again and will be there for a Floyd fight in September.

I guess that is an interesting way to look at it. I actually was thinking the same thing myself. What if Floyd fights Maidana and beats him? How much credit would Broner get if he beat him right after Floyd did!?

The only reason it is about the undercards is because the rest of the boxers can't compete. That's not Floyd's fault. You think Maidana or Khan will do any better than Canelo? Doubt it

Cotto/Mayweather 2 would have been bigger than the Canelo fight, even without strong undercards, especially with Roach in Cotto's corner. But people won't even bother mentioning this option. Money Mayweather will turn it down. It's too risky. He'll most likey ask for a catchweight if he did.

I would watch a Floyd vs Maidana fight. I wouldnt bother with a Broner vs Maidana II other than catching it on youtube later on. I wouldnt even bother doing that for a crappy Floyd vs Khan.

You're forgetting Broner is just a Floyd wannabe dog, one that got Ass Beaten and a sore loser at that. Floyd doesnt give a damn about Broner, and Broner should stay put like a good dog and take any bone that is thrown his way.
