  • Comments Thread For: Stevens, Ma***ski Make Weight, Ready For Fight Night

Curtis Stevens and Patrick Ma***ski both made weight for their scheduled 10-round middleweight bout Friday evening at Resorts International in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Stevens (25-4, 18KO) came in at a thickly muscled 160.5 lb. for his ring return, coming just 11 weeks following a knockout loss to unbeaten middleweight titlist Gennady Golovkin.

Ma***ski (21-2, 13KO) was slightly heavier, though far leaner given his considerable height advantage, tipping the scales at 161.5 lb. The bout marks his first ring appearance since a points loss to Patrick Nielsen on the road in Denmark last September.

The middleweight attraction serves as the headlining act for the 2014 season premiere of NBC Sports Network Fight Night series, airing live at 10:00PM ET. [Click Here To Read More]

So Stevens is back only 11 weeks after a stoppage loss? I thought there was a quaranteen period?

I think Stevens would've had a better career if he could make 154. I'm just assuming he can't...

I think it's too much at this point. He's pretty short, but the dude has a stocky body.
            He could try cutting muscle

I have seen Mchunu just once against Chambers and im looking forward to see him again. Stevens vs. Ma***ski is also an interesting B-Level bout.
