The world cruiserweight champion of the WBA, 34-year old Russian boxer Denis Lebedev, is getting in some training work with Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach at his Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, according to the boxer's manager Sergey Bondar. At a meeting between Denis and Roach, the trainer was presented with a gift from the President of Boxing Federation of Russia. He received a golden glove from the Russian duo. Lebedev is spending time in the United States to prepare for an ordered rematch with former champion Guillermo Jones.
