WBC Silver flyweight champion Luis "Nica" Concepcion was Awarded Panama's " Boxer of the Year "accolade, in a ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel in Panama.
The award was presented by the Professional Boxing Commission and boxing Journalists.
Nica Fought three times in 2013. He conquered the WBC Silver flyweight title over Argentine Nestor Daniel Narvaes by unanimous decision. He then successfully defended it against Anuar Salas and Carlos Ruben Dario Ruiz.
