Seriously? This is pathetic. I don't remember anyone overhyping Perez like you claim. People have been praising Perez long before the Mago fight. What happened was that he was inactive for a while. But you probably never even heard of him before that fight. It's the HW division and people aways get excited about new talent cause everyone is wanting the HW division to be revived again.

Compare Perez's activity level in the Mago fight with the Takam fight. It's obvious that he didn't even want to be in the ring that night.... he needs some months off to recover mentally...

If he looks better in about 6 months, we'll know he recovered. If he stills looks bad, his career might be over.

It was a bad night for him. I don't know how he felt mentally but physically it was too soon after the Magomed fight. He's escaped with his unbeaten record intact and I'm sure he'll be better rested next time.
