Comments Thread For: Canelo-Angulo Ticket Sales Get Off To a Rapid Start

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer expects a full house on March 8th, when Mexican junior middleweights Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs) and Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18KOs) go to war in a Showtime Pay-Per-View headliner from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

There was a pre-sale for tickets and nearly 3,000 of them have already been snapped up. The tickets officially go on sale this coming Friday and the official press conference is scheduled to take place next week.

Hope they put Mares on the undercard.

Canelo/Mares/Santa Cruz is a good card.

Schaefer is full of it. He expected 20,000+ for Maidana/Broner and there was only 11,500
