Comments Thread For: James DeGale-Badou Jack Final WBC Eliminator Ordered

London - James DeGale MBE is closer to realizing his world title dream, as the WBC call for him to face Badou Jack in a final eliminator for the right to become mandatory challenger for the WBC world super middleweight championship.

Following Marco Antonio Periban's withdrawal from their scheduled eliminator, the WBC have announced the news that DeGale, the WBC Silver Champion, has been waiting for, as he moves just one fight away from facing champion Sakio Bika for the title.

This will either be a really good close fight, or DeGale will win a stinker...

If he beats Jack, he's mandatory for the WBC title.

WOW finally Chunky getting his chance. Ive been bigging up Chunky since his debut and had to endure alot of venom from my friends when he lost to Groves. Hopefully he finally becomes a WORLD champion and gets on with Groves in a
          super rematch.

I'm not a fan of DeGale at all but I think he beats Jack easily. Jack skills are not there yet nor is he busy enough to beat any of the top fighters at 168.

I think DeGale beats him easily as well, he's one of the best in that weight class. Bika should start polishing up that title for him.

Money Team would be crazy to allow the fight take place in the uk,far too many dubious decisions and refereeing over there lately, with the Chisora debacles,Burns decision and dubious judging and referee favouritism for Froch agaisnt Groves, even the Groves vs DeGale was a peculiar decision,i had DeGale by two rounds.

Jack should angle for fight over in the states.I believe he'd be a fool to travel to Britain.

Has Bika a fight lined up between now and the winner of the eliminator ? DeGale won't get am easier title than against Bika, technically the guy is terrible,it should be bread and butter for DeGale,he ought to pray Bika dosmt lose that bet between now and then to a touhger opponent.

What happened to DeGale vs Chavez Jr ?

Chavez jr has done nothing to be mandatory for the title, its a bs fight. Wait is chavez jr still in the equation, the wbc are ridiculous.
