When does it make sense for two fighters of Mexican heritage primarily based on the West Coast to fight in an East Coast venue?

The answer: it doesn’t have to make sense when the venue is Madison Square Garden.

It's crazy that Mikey Garcia is a Southern California based fighter and he's only fought in Sur Califas 5 times early in his career at small venues, in Anaheim at the Honda Center in 2010, and in Los Angeles at Staples Center in 2011. Never as the main event though.

The only fight I've been to of Mikey's was in L.A. at Staples Center in 2011 on the undercard of Chavez Jr. vs. Zbik.

Anyways, Garcia vs. Burgos should be a good fight. I wish it was in Los Angeles.
