Comments Thread For: Spada's Career is Now Being Guided By Spagnoli

Italian middleweight Domenico "Vulcano" Spada, 38-4, is now managed by Giulio Spagnoli after the contract with OPI 2000 expired (Nov 3). Spada also have plans for his own promotional company, Vulcano Promotions, but that is to come later. Spada is ranked # 2 by the WBC and may fight against # 1 contender Marco Antonio Rubio for the interim title. Mr Spagnoli is currently in negotiations with Oswaldo Kuchle of Promociones de Pueblo. If no deal is reached there will be purse bids on Friday.

Spada has no business fighting Rubio for a belt. He's lost every meaningful fight he's been in, including two previous title fights
