Comments Thread For: Kubrat Pulev Could Return To Action on April 5th

According to sources in Bulgaria, undefeated heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev (19-0, 10KOs) is potentially going to return on April 5th in Rostock, where Juergen Braehmer will make the first defense of his WBA "regular" heavyweight title. Pulev, the IBF's mandatory challenger, is staying busy while waiting for his crack at unified champion Wladimir Klitschko, who is going to fight in April against his WBO mandatory, Alex Leapai.

I really enjoy Kooobrat's style of fighting. His jab is one of the best in the division, and he fights 'confidently' when up against big men - meaning he stands right in front of them and fearlessly sticks the jab in their face.

However he does tend to a hold a lot sometimes and run out of ideas. In the first half of the Thompson bout he was really sloppy and tentative, but I'll put that down to an off night. For now.
