  • Comments Thread For: Motivated Arreola Already Training For Stiverne Rematch

Chris Arreola doesn’t know when or where he’ll box Bermane Stiverne again, but that hasn’t stopped the heavyweight contender from beginning to prepare for their WBC-mandated championship rematch.

“I’m working my [butt] off,” Arreola told BoxingScene.com following a training session this week in his native Riverside, Calif. “I want to make sure when we get this call, we get to camp already ready. I don’t want to go into it unprepared. I want to make sure that this is the best Chris Arreola people can get. I’m holding myself accountable. I have to be responsible about everything.”

If arreloa (on arleated note broner as well) can get in shape and stwork hard he could have a really good career. I can see him beating wilder easy and maybe, again if he's in shape, catching an old wlad at the perfect time.

A little late for that, methinks. Stiverne is going to put it on him.

I could swear team Arreola said that they trained hard and were in tip top shape in the first fight and I will give chris his props he was doing pretty good the first and second round i would say it was about even but after the 3rd round it was a pretty much total wipe out and I could tell broken nose or not he probably would have lost that fight Stiverne beats him 9/10 times he just a better fighter

good for Chris, at least he's taking his career seriously. if he loses, he knows he'll be nothing more than a step below gate keeper! I think he needs to work on his power a lil mores as well as head movement. otherwise, i see stiverne possibly stopping the freddy krueger lookalike
