EBU cruiserweight champion Grigory Drozd (37-1, 26KOs) of Russia is training in Miami, Florida with Cuban coach Pedro Diaz, who handles super bantamweight king Guillermo Rigondeaux, heavyweight contender Odlanier Solis and previously trained former three division world champion Miguel Cotto.

Drozd makes the first defense of his title on March 15th in Moscow against Jeremy Ouanna (14-8, 3KOs). Drozd captured the title in October, when he stopped previously undefeated Mateusz Masternak in eleven rounds on the Klitschko-Povetkin undercard. [Click Here To Read More]

Little by little Mr Diaz is getting some fighters. But like I've said before, I'd like to see him build a fighter from the ground up. Maybe he already has a hidden gem in the gym that we dunno about.
