Comments Thread For: Memo: Marquez Wants KO of Pacquiao as Final Memory

Juan Manuel Marquez intends to use his fourth fight with Manny Pacquiao to close the book on their rivalry, according to the boxer's strength and conditioning coach Angel "Memo" Heredia.

Memo spoke to Marquez a few days ago and asked him if a fifth fight with Pacquiao was possible - and Marquez rejected the possibility of that fight. He wants the brutal knockout of Pacquiao to remain as the final memory of their fight series.

Why is there no talk of Pacquiao Bradley 2? That's what I want to see.

There is no better way of saying fuck off by demanding a ridiculous split, Marquez should opt to do that. This chapter is done with, even in losing Pacquiao showed great will and determination, there is really no shame.

It's also the most marketable fight for Arum, by a long shot. A lot of people would wanna see it, hence the huge offer to Marquez. And you understand why Pac would feel strongly about it.

What Michael Jordan didnt do after hitting that game 6 championship winner vs the jazz; Brett Favre after that first Vikings year; and while Anderson Silva was still on top. they all didnt retire and came back at old age.

That least Marquez can say he retired at the utmost glorifying point of his career, makign Mexican and even boxing history of KOing Pac

o wait...he went on to take on Bradley in a mediocre fight AND LOST. lmao
now begging for a rematch by not accepting a loss. aka "Whine Manual Marquez"

Retiring after that Pacquiao KO on such a high note wouldve been so amazing. Instead he had to ruin it by chasing a meaningless fite for an alphabet title in a 5th weight class.
