Comments Thread For: WBO Prez: Marquez Won't Budge, Rejects Pacquiao 5

The president of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Puerto Rico's Francisco 'Paco' Valcárcel, recently took a trip to Mexico and met with Juan Manuel Márquez to discuss his future. Marquez, 40-years-old, is the mandatory challenger to WBO 140-pound champion Ruslan Provodnikov.

During their discussion, Valcarcel spoke to Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs) about the possibility of a fifth fight with Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs).

Then shouldn't he retire? Bradley would pick a Pac rematch over Marquez any day of the week

Im sure Jinkee doesnt want to see Pacman laid out almost dead again

Pacquiao needs to be a man of his word, both fighters said it would be the last fight no matter the outcome, Marquez didnt get robbed this time, its clear to see whos the better fighter

              Hey, it is his right.

I'd rather see Pac-Mayweather get made.

he is chasing after a title, floyd and porter arent possible and bradley is the only one that is possible. He is calling it a robbery and not taking it well so he can get another shot at it, even though he clearly lost.

So either he wants the title, and pac must beat bradley first before marquez could consider him, or he simply doesn't want to fight pac again. Either way pac wasn't going to get this fight next

I think Juan will be beat down in a 5th fight. Before Pac got iced he was beating the dog **** out of Juan.

JMM has slowed down, Pac will break his nose again. Juan was always Pacs Kryptonite, I won't deny that. But a 5th fight will be bad for Juan. Pacquiao had a real schooling with ktfo6 which IMO makes him more dangerous.

Marquez likes this feeling... so throw his rematch with Bradley out the window because he likes that feeling too
