Two-time world champion Daniel Ponce de Leon (45-5, 35KOs) is expecting to return on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The evening will be headlined by Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who comes back for the first time since losing a twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September. Ponce De Leon, now at super featherweight, would like to face WBC champion Takashi Miura of Japan.

I hope not. The PPV is going to bomb badly. Why waste good fights on that when you can put them on regular Showtime and get much more exposure?

Ponce is always an entertaining watch. I'm also anxious to know who Canelo is going to fight next.
