An assault case against Adrien Broner in Ohio was dismissed yesterday after his accuser failed to show up for the trial, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The case dated back to May 27, 2012, a little less than two months before Broner fought Vicente Escobedo. Broner was accused of punching the man in the face. Had Broner been convicted, he faced up to 180 days in jail, the newspaper reported.
