Former two-division world champion Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga has had enough of Mixed Martial Arts. Last Saturday night, Mayorga (0-3-1 in Mixed Martial Arts) was submitted in two rounds by Sergio "Checo" Ortiz (2-1) in a Mixed Martial Arts encounter. It was a rematch, the first time around Mayorga lost a three round split decision in San Jose, Costa Rica on October 13.

You could've said it as a joke, but I'd definitely tune for that fight, imagine the talk and all that before the fight. It would make for an attractive fight, I pick Mayorga, dude is a comeforward force like Maidana, but I believe Mayorga would be able to KO Broner.

LOL! That's good to hear Mayorga. If only he would have dedicated himself to boxing and by that I mean, stopped smoking cigarettes during camp and lived a healthier lifestyle. He was always drinking and smoking, and still with that kind of lifestyle gave some of the top fighters a few scares.

Exciting fighter/club brawler, call him what you may, but Mayorga had an entertaining style. From his pre fight **** talking to his antics during the fight, he was a show.

Mayorga Isn't Winning ANY World Title Unless It's Called the "Pace Picante Title"

This guy has been a shot fighter for a number of years getting knocked out, which is why he went to MMA. They choked him out twice, and now he's coming back to Boxing to get knocked out again, all for cigarette money. Dude needs to get a job in a casino or the mall.
