Former two division champion Paulie Malignaggi was very critical of Adrien Broner (27-2, 22KOs) in the aftermath of his first career loss, a twelve round unanimous decision to Marcos Maidana at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Back in June, Broner moved up by two weight divisions to fight Malignaggi and he appeared to struggle at the welterweight limit. He was still able to win a close split decision to win the WBA crown.

In the All Access Rob Garcia pretty much said Paulie gave the blueprint to Broner. Not the exact quote but they used that fight a lot to study him anyway

Mayweather isn't garbage like Broner, whether you like him or not. But it would be fun to see Maidana rush his ass and see how Floyd responds, too.
