Both Adrien Broner and Marcos Maidana throw around the weight class average for total punches. Broner likes to stay in the pocket and get off power shots (78% of his thrown punches are power shots and 88% of his landed punches are power shots). And Broner did land his power shots- 56% in his last three fights (Malignaggi, DeMarco, Rees)- although it's safe to say DeMarco and Rees were basically punching bags. Maidana who faced better opposition than Broner, landed 40% of his power shots, while opponents (Alexander, Soto Karass,Lopez) landed 39% of their power shots.
