Former WBO/WBA flyweight champion Brian Viloria is ready for a rematch with Mexico’s Juan Francisco Estrada in Macau on February 22 on a Top Rank fight card of promoter Bob Arum.

In an overseas telephone conversation with BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard, Viloria said he expects to find out from his manager Gary Gittelsohn what progress has been made with the Estrada camp on the planned rematch which was first indicated by Arum.

Viloria, you lost because you're hugging tactics didn't work as effectively vs a faster, rangier boxer/puncher like Estrada as they did vs a slower stalker like Segura.

I can't wait, it makes perfect sense. Segura is already Estrada's mandatory. If Viloria can beat Estrada and I don't think he will, Segura can get a rematch with Viloria. It was a great fight the first time I would expect another good performance. The winner faces Segura either way the fans win.

First fight was great. I'd love to see a rematch, but Estrada wins again.

I think Estrada is only getting better, viloria is what he is,no improvement, but cant say the same with Estrada,he's faced some decent fighters and I think he's improved after each fight,,,facing Viloria then if he wins segura and maybe Gonzalez, how tough can it get for a fighter? if he does that and defeats them all that's impressive, and he's still very young

The first fight was excellent. Estrada showed so many facets to his game that Viloria became overwhelmed. If I remember correctly, the fight changed when Estrada started working on the inside. I think Estrada takes it agains. He's constantly improving from fight to fight.
