Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has indicated that 2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire may return to the ring in April but if that’s not possible because Donaire is recovering from a fracture in his cheekbone suffered in his 9th round TKO of Vic Darchinyan in their rematch last October he would “definitely be back in May.”

Arum said he had spoken to Donaire’s manager Cameron Dunkin and that the manager had said “possibly April but definitely May and he’ll let me know in about a week.” [Click Here To Read More]

How is he a force exactly? He has one fight in the division which he won by knockout but was losing on the cards. On top of that it was a fight that he was suppose to look good in ,coming off the rigo loss .

has donaire ever been on any of pac's under card? i dont recall him ever being on it which is what i dont get. the fight they had last time bob line up all the filipinos fighters with manny but donaire wasnt part of it.

Speed. And power. Plain and simple. Fighters like Donaire who possess special physical attributes are always forces in their respective divisions.

The Vic fight was his tune-up, and although he started rough, he got back in the swing of things and got the KO - like he was supposed to.

i think it was just speculations on here.. it was when donaire's wife made a comment about jinkee buying a dress or something after the manny/mosley fight. she said something like if i had all that money i wouldnt buy something like that.. i've never heard manny say anything bad about donaire then again i've never really hear manny talk about him either lol. it just surprises me that bob hasnt put donaire on any of pac's under card when that would be a good way to generate more money.
