Anthony Peterson will again get to fight in front of his hometown crowd, appearing on the undercard of a show in which his older brother, Lamont, is in the main event.

Lamont Peterson defends his junior welterweight world title against Dierry Jean on Jan. 25 in Washington, D.C., at the D.C. Armory. The co-feature will be a junior middleweight bout between Gabriel Rosado and Jermell Charlo.

At one point he was the higher rated prospect of the Peterson brothers,It just shows you can have all the skills in the world but without the intangibles, you can become a cautionary story, forever a protege.

Yeah Anthony was almost universally considered better than his brother. The guy made Brandon Rios famous, Rios was suppose to be a body for Peterson to beat up on.

he's really a forgotten entity...he needs a major match to re-establish himself, not Rosado, who has turned in2 an opponent...

Thinking about it,it's a great time for him to come back..Esp if he's going to continue to fight at LW..The landscape there would be very interesting if this is the case..

I don't think Peterson's heart is in it. You don't lose your first fight and then retire for 3 years if your heart was in Boxing unless there was something medical going on.
