Samuel Peter Calling Out Shannon Briggs

Samuel “The Nigerian Nightmare” Peter says now that David Tua has backed out of his scheduled fight against Shannon Briggs in April, he’d love it if Briggs would agree to face him instead. “Shannon, you talk big and call everybody out, but let’s see if you’re really a man.” [details]

Thats very disapointing, Tua has backed out of another fight, it might be the end of the road for him if he keeps doing this.

I really, really hope Briggs fights Peter. The more notches on my man's belt, the sooner he'll get his rematch with Wladimir.

I don't know if Wladimir's promoters will ever give Peter a rematch, they are probably going to go straight for a unification run and then retirement.

My thoughts exactly. Briggs is a decent heavyweight but he's not up to par with any of the top HW's, Sam Peter included.

I think there should be another night of the young heavyweights, like there was in 2003, it could involve Brock, Peter and a few others.
