Comments Thread For: Chisora Dares Deontay Wilder To Accept a Fight

British heavyweight star Dereck Chisora has sent an open letter challenging undefeated American hope Deontay Wilder to a showdown next year.

The Finchley puncher, who holds the European, WBO and WBA International titles, ended the year with a third round stoppage of Ondrej Pala at London’s Copper Box Arena last Saturday night to make it four wins out of four this year - all by knockout.

Chisora has turned his career around with dominant performances over Malik Scott and Edmund Gerber and is now in prime position for his 2014 campaign for a second world title shot.

First, the 29-year-old wants to face the American KO king, who has knocked out all 30 of his opponents inside four rounds, to prove who is the better man. [Click Here To Read More]

Love this fight. Chisora's punch resistance isn't the best, so he might get knocked out early, but if he doesn't he will beat Wilder's ass.

be a great fight. I think chisora would give wilder all he could handle but if wilder did a number on him it would be a massive statement

Should be a step up for Wilder. I believe Chisora is a step in the right direction for Wilder, tough seasoned fighter with gas on the tank yet not an extreme jump in opposition. Should give us a clearer idea of where Wilder stands in the HW picture. After that, Arreola sounds like the right choice.

Good fight, but NO BRITISH REF for this one. I don't want to see Chisora or Wilder getting stopped early.

Wilder needs to take this fight! Its now or never. He could make a huge statement if he put Chisora down early. I love this fight, winner gets Fury!

I don't want the fight to happen. I want Wilder to knock out 10 more bums because it's fun to watch.

No reason to try to kill his career like this.
