  • Comments Thread For: Ed Paredes Heading Over To Golden Boy Promotions

According to tough welterweight contender Ed Paredes (34-3-1, 22KOs), he signed a promotional agreement with Golden Boy Promotions. Paredes, unbeaten since a 2009 decision loss to now junior middleweight champion Carlos Molina, parted ways with Henry Rivalta and Mike Tyson Productions last month. Paredes has won his last 13 outings. He went to a draw with Joey Hernandez in August, but then knocked Hernandez out in two rounds the following year.

My guess is they're setting him up for the winner of Twinkle Fingers vs K-9.

I don't blame him...it's sad but true but these starting promotional companies can't do much for these fighters. Just look at what they did to Mendez...didn't even show up to put in a bid for his next fight and he is a champion. That's ****ing sad!

Well, he has heart that's for sure. Let's see how far that carries him. Now, only if Mendez would sign with GB or even TR....that would definitely change his career around. I wouldn't mind if he also dumped Mr. Nunez.
