Is there any options that Mayweather has at 147 that are not cherry picks?

I think any fight he has at 147 or 154(legit 154) would be considered a cherry pick, well mainly to people who doesn't like the guy. I think him fighting Manny and if he won that fight it would be considered a cherry pick for how long the fought took to get made and Manny getting KO'D by JMM. I think Bradley is the only name out there that is worth something at this point and maybe Manny.

bull****...floyd just fought at light middle so it's not just just one division apart. besides the point really is that garcia is not yet ready for such a big step up. for somebody who gets considered as a good fight for floyd, he got no chance so it doesn't make sense at all.

as for floyd's real competition, he outlasted by not fighting them.

How much longer are we going to pretend that Mayweather isn't a WW and only fighters at Jr MW for big money and is very small for the weight class?

He's a Welterweight, he comes to the ring at 150 lbs and has never weighed in more than 151.

They're one weight class apart and are pretty much the same size.

I think Garcia's more than ready he's beaten quite a few good fighters aswell as solid experienced ones with a range of styles including speed, power etc

Alexander or Khan's chances aren't any better so why the complaints? Garcia is the most deserving right now that's a viable option.

The complete change in posters perceptions of the Canelo fight was amazing.

            FLoyd was scared of Canelo.
            SHowtime made floyd fight Canelo.
            Floyd whitewashes Canelo
            Canelo was a cherry pick
Canelo was too green and floyd knew he'd be easy work.

            Typical NSB.

People's idea these day's of moving up one weight class from your first one as being some huge disadvantage is just plain ******.

No one complained when Azumah Nelson moved up from 130 to 135 to fight Whitaker and that wasn't even his first weight class.

Garcia and Mayweather are about the same size and Garcia's chances are definitely better than Khan's and Alexanders.

People are still underrating Danny IMO he has skills, timing and power along with heart and chin.

you're overreacting...my post was not just about step up in weight but more importantly the big step up in competition for garcia. he may be ready to move up to welteweight but why make floyd his first fight.

he's no ready for that level plain and simple ...even his dad said so. if you can't get a sense of that then that's your problem.

We're comparing Azumah Nelson to Danny Garcia now.

i'm not complaining...i'm just saying it's not yet a good fight at this point. garcia may be more deserving than the other gbp fighters but that doesn't mean it's a good fight. there's nothing he could offer that could make it difficult for floyd.

Have you ever noticed that the guys who supposedly are ready for that step up never do that well while the guys who people figure had no chance-corley, augustus for example-performed surprisingly well?

You can't know if a fighter is ready unless they get the fight. SOme thought floyd wasn't ready for Genaro-they were wrong. Some thought Vargas wasn't ready-they were right.
