Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada - WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20KOs) retained his world title with a sixth round stoppage of mandatory challenger Tony Bellew (20-2-1, 12KOs). After two slow rounds, Stevenson opened up with a lot of punches in the third. Bellew and Stevenson were traded big shots in the fourth, and the challenger appeared to shake Stevenson up - but the champion fired back strong with both hands.

    Kovalev

Will kill Adonis. No competition. He is only a puncher. Kovalev is that and much much more. Can't wait.

First time watching Kovalev tonight, and he KILLS Adonis.

And I was the guy saying how Kovalev will get KOd soon.

        That's how sketchy Adonis looked.

Kovalev Would eat Stevenson for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, Stevenson will want to fight a Hopkins or a Pascal. A Less risk but higher pay type of fight....So Kovalev simply has to knock everyone out....Kovalev in 4 rounds.

Adonis did his thing tonight but I feel he can't beat B-Hop. I can say the ref's stoppage was just, unlike Froch-Groves.
Due to the cold war, a B-Hop fight won't happen. Kovalev - Stevenson sounds good to me. No doubt it will end in a KO. Who gets KO'd is the question. RJJ's analyst of a potential Kovalev-Steveson fight was/is on point. As of right now I would have to go with Kovalev because he has power in both hands where as Stevenson just has power in one.

Bellew was way out of his league. He looked scared. Hilarious stoppage.
