  • Comments Thread For: Groves Ready: I Would Knock Carl Froch Out in Six!

Super middleweight contender George Groves is ready for a rematch with IBF/WBA 'regular' champion Carl Froch - if he is given a rematch. Last Saturday night, Groves knocked Froch down on his back in the first round and outboxed the champion, hurting him numerous times, over the course of the fight.

A controversial ending in the ninth, as referee Howard Foster jumped in very quickly as soon a Groves got in trouble.

After getting his in-ring experience againt Froch, the younger man is confident he would come on even stronger in the rematch.

I think Froch stops him again. This time legitimately

Froch needs to take the rematch in order not to lose his strong credibility. There's no other fight for him to take at the moment, in that regard. He needs to beat Groves decisively, as he says he can. Anything else would be losing face for Froch.

If the rematch doesn't happen, someone's yellow.

He talked the talk before his first fight with Froch and I believe he would damage Carl and more so than in the first fight which was pretty ****ing bad.

Froch is on the decline it seems. I think Groves has a legitimate chance to beat Froch in the rematch.

              Froch will be KTFO.

I might be in the minority here, but I think Froch stops him next time, and maybe even earlier. I can't help but think that Froch underestimated Groves the first time around.

I hope they never fight again and Groves gets to make his "legend" out of being the guy that was beating Froch but then didn't. This whole thing makes me laugh so hard. Froch had evened up the scorecards with that last round (granted those were bad scores but that happens a lot in boxing) and Groves was tired. Anything could have happened. I'm so over it at this point. The more I hear from these two the less I care.

GROVES is a skilled boxer,FROCH not,GROVES will make adjustments now that fought FROCH once and he was also able to knock him down and give him a beating. FROCH will attack desperatly trying to land big and stop GROVES but the younger better boxer will counter him and put him to the canvas once again!!!
