Deja vu all over again as Yogi Berra once said. Tor Hamer was outlanded 39-8 by Andy Ruiz in round three - then quit on his stool. Hamer landed 50% of his power shots before retiring and had a 32-23 edge in power shots landed in rounds one and two. Ruiz was eating Hamer's best punches and wasn't affected by them. There's no way Hamer was able to keep throwing that many shots and eventually Ruiz would have worn him down and TKOd him. He saved himself from taking unnecessary punishment. Maybe he can become the Bob Sapp of boxing and just take beatings and then quit.

If you seen Tor's last fight with Kertson Manswell you would understand his frustration at not being able to hurt Ruiz. Tor threw a punch at Manswell and Manswell went down for the count even though the punch missed.
