Hulking Swedish southpaw heavyweight Otto Wallin (4-0, 3 KOs), who made his professional debut in June, went the distance for the first time in his career against durable Czech journeyman Thomas Mrazek (7-44-6, 5 KOs), outpointing him over four. Wallin was controlling the action and wobbled Mrazek in the final round. Both fighters also exchanged punches at the end of the third, and Wallin wasn't only hitting but was also getting hit at the time. He is still a work in progress [Click Here To Read More]

Picked Boytsov and Gutkneckt to win. I have to say.. I am not surprised both lost. Especially Boytsov.

Ha! Only mildly surprised about Leapai Boytsov. Serves him right, he's worse than Deontay Wilder about avoiding big fights, but never gets the criticism Wilder gets (and make no mistake, I'm no Wilder fan). He just turned down what would have been a well paying fight with Chisora for Leapai. It serves him right that he lost his undefeated standing, as well as his shot for a title fight or super high paying fight, on a lesser regarded fighter who he no doubt earned vastly less off of than if he'd fought Chisora, Fury, and Vitali Klitschko, all of whom offered him a shot. I had Boytsov ranked 28 among active heavies. Time to drop him, put Leapai in his place, and frankly move Kevin Johnson up to the mid teens.

How anyone could have ever taken Boystov seriously is beyond me.

I've always liked Sukachev's articles here on BS. His English is great for a non-native speaker, and the way he describes fights is informative and engaging. Keep up the good work!

Boytsov is officially finished now. He was just plain terrible against a crude bigpunching slugger.
