EBU super lightweight champ Michele Di Rocco, 35-1-1, will make a voluntary defence of the title against Ville Piispanen, 17-3-3, on December 21 in Brindisi (Italy). Piispanen was also mandatory challenger for the EBU-EU title with a fight against titleholder Ruben Nieto in sight but that is off now. Ville is up against it as Di Rocco have beaten the likes of Lenny Daws and Giusppe Lauri, both fighters who the Finn have lost to.
