Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs) is pressing to fight Deontay Wilder (30-0, 30KOs) on February 8th in Manchester. Fury was scheduled to face former two division champion David Haye, who withdrew a few days ago from the fight. It was Haye's second withdrawal from the Fury bout. Last week Haye underwent shoulder surgery and doctors have advised him to retire from boxing. Wilder and his team have expressed their interest in facing Fury.

Lets be a little more mature about this bro. If you saw Wilders last fight he had punches thrown at him, was hit and rough housed and dealt with a little adversity. If you would have said he was uncomfortable when being attacked or taking punches it would have added more validity to your post. As far as Fury winning easily goes, I would highly doubt that. This is a 50-50 fight with 2 big heavies who still have questionable chins and skills at this point. Wilder definitely has the speed and power advantage but I feel Fury is a little more polished and that could serve him well in the fight. It is a good fight nonetheless and would be good to watch.

It is an interesting fight where we can find out quite a bit about both fighters, I think Haye would have been too high a class of opponent for Fury at this point and he is obviously trying to cash himself out with VK now and Wilder? Well we just don't know much about what he is made of, his ability to take a shot, his stamina down the stretch if he ever goes more than 5 rounds.

Fury though has to be a considerable favorite because he has faced much better opposition.

I've seen big punchers get derailed, but it usually takes a master boxer, Fury doesn't qualify. Wilder has never been deep, but Fury gets hit easy, real easy. Fury had to break down Cunningham, a much smaller man than Wilder, and get off the canvas before the final blow. He has struggled with his domestic rivals. Wilder has had no problems with, pretty much, the same type of competition. Fury by decision...if it gets to the judges...in the UK.

fury is there to be hit and wilder obviously can put your lights out its the fight we been wanting to see its only right that they get it on now! tyson made the move wilder needs to step up and show hes the next big thing. wish he had a better trainer someone who could polish up his skills more, with that kind of power and some added ring smarts and he will be tough to beat
