Comments Thread For: Joshua Admits Larry Holmes Motivated More Jab Use

Anthony Joshua continued the exciting start to his professional career with his third straight stoppage victory at York Hall. The London 2012 super-heavyweight gold medallist moved to 3-0 with a second-round technical knockout victory over Hrvoje Kisicek in Bethnal Green. Joshua knocked the Croatian to the canvas with powerful combination punches in the second and the contest was stopped shortly afterwards.

It's great when a prospect is thinking about using the jab more because a fighter with a great jab was in the audience.

Too bad Larry Holmes never attended a Deontay Wilder fight.

There was a video of Lewis trying to teach Deontay how to jab and Deontay was looking at him like he was speaking french

Glad to hear that the young buck is listening to good advice.A fighter's game should revolve around the jab.

Last night, Larry said that Joshua has a better jab than Lennox. Lennox was at Larry's gym when he was active.

I'm excited for Joshua. Exciting time is coming.

Holmes absolutely despises Lewis and shits on him at any given oppurtunity. I wouldn't take too much from a statement like that from Holmes. IF he did infact say that.

yea,,I think he also trashed lewis in his book. hes never been one to pay other fighters many compliments. too wrapped up in his own greatness it seems. that along with his bitterness is something I never liked about him altho he did seem nice in person when I shook his hand and said a few words to him
