Comments Thread For: Lundy To Molina: HBO Wants It, Stop Running From Me

Junior welterweight contender Hank Lundy (23-3-1, 11KOs) is hungry to get revenge on hard-puncher John Molina (26-3, 21KOs). Back in 2010, Molina scored a come from behind stoppage of Lundy in the eleventh round. At the time of the stoppage, Lundy was up 98-91, 98-91, and 97-92 on the three official scorecards.

Molina is scheduled to return on November 16th as part of the Andre Ward-Edwin Rodriguez undercard at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

After reading a recent article on BoxingScene, where Molina said he was having trouble securing opponents, and also pondered a move to 140-pounds - Lundy is prepared to help him out in both areas.

He should fight Lundy, that was a very early stoppage and Lundy was taking Molina to school.

I agree with this, but I was glad Molina got him out of there. Lundy's showboating had me disgusted and I don't mind showboating, it was just too excessive for me.

He has stopped that garbage since the loss and think he would be more of a professional if they met again.

I agree, as much as I disliked his in ring antics, he has very good skills. His chin of course is an issue but if one can't hurt him or get him out, he's more than capable of dealing anyone at 140.

Yes he is always getting hurt or dropped but he knows Molina isn't out boxing him and certainly Molina has to know without several KDs he probably won't be able to out point Lundy so Lundy will probably be cautious and win an uneventful decision if they rematch.

Hank "Friday Night Fight" Lundy. HBO aint going to put two scrubs on their network. I would watch this fight on ESPN Friday Night Fights though.
