Deportivo Morelos, Cuajimalpa, Distrito Federal, Mexico - Roberto Ortiz (30-0-1, 23KOs) won a tough twelve round unanimous decision over Reyes Sanchez (24-6-2, 14KOs) to retain his WBC Silver light welterweight title. The scores were 115-112, 114-112 and 114-112.

WBC International silver super flyweight champion Ivan Morales (23-0, 13KOs) barely stayed undefeated with a close ten round unanimous decision over a very game Cesar Javier Gandara (22-4, 9KOs). All three judges scored it 95-94. Morales started off slow and appeared to have Gandara ready to go in the fourth, but then Gandara staged a rally down the stretch and hurt Morales several times. saw these on MX Televisa & the Ortiz bout was exciting, good call by the judges...Morales did enuff 2 win on tv, I was curious why the bout was only 10 & not 12 rounds, as Morales was fading in the last 3 rounds...Camacho was dominated by a nobody that fought hard...he should look for a job, he's no fighter...
