Hermitage Leisure Centre, Whitwick, Leicestershire - Heavyweight prospect Hughie Fury (11-0, 6 KOs) picked up a six round decision over Hrvoje Kisicek (4-6, 1 KO). The sole score was 60-54. After turning pro in March of this year, Fury had stopped four of his first five opponents, but has now gone the distance in three of his last four. The 19-year-old boxer is going to return on November 8th at the City Academy Sports Centre, Bristol, Avon. Hughie often trains with his older cousin, Tyson Fury, and wants to break the record of boxing legend Mike Tyson by becoming the youngest fighter to capture the heavyweight crown. Wow I know that when a fighter gets stopped they can't fight for a certain period of time and that is tough for journeymen but I had no idea that deals like that go on.Comment

That's first time I've ever heard of that clause. "Will you fight?" "Yes sir, but only if you're not allowed to knock me out." What you are suggesting is classified as match fixing so I'm calling bull***** here.
I like Hughie Fury. I like the way he fights, I like his ambition. He's not going to break Tyson's record though. Tyson was extremely explosive, intimidating, and had most opponents petrified before a fight even started and could back it up with violence in both fists on top of a speed and underrated technique.
Ali, also another young champion, was far more athletic and graceful than any other heavyweight of his era. He was unparalleled in that regard.
Hughie Fury is neither athletic or explosive. He's... tall and can box well. It will take him some years to get the strength and know how required to apply that at a top level. It will be a long time before he's ready for a world title.Comment
