BoxingScene.com recently spoke to welterweight contender Jessie Vargas (22-0) who returns to the ring against Ray Narth (26-3) in the main event of a special Friday edition of UniMas' Solo Boxeo series at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Vargas last fought in March when he defeated Wale Omotoso via unanimous decision in Carson, CA. He said that he is happy to be back in action and plans on putting on a great performance.

Vargas has plateaued, he looks as crappy from one fight to the next and Top Rank knows that so they wont put him in with anyone half decent
