I'm not saying better fighter/career but who is better technically? We all know how great Mayweather is but damn Rigondeaux footwork and defense is insane

Freddie Roach said he was never able to hit Rigondeaux in 6 months of mitt training and that he is probably the most talented fighter he's ever seen.

Floyd at least looks for openings to KO his opponent. Rigodeaux is all about survival.

It's a wash. Both are tremendous at timing and spacing and footwork and making guys miss by inches.

If we expand the argument to overall skill, Mayweather takes this easily until Rigondeaux proves he has the same level of comfort and skill inside that Mayweather has shown.

Rigondeaux knocks out most his opponents.

Rigondeaux is better technically, but Mayweather is better all around boxer. I think Mayweather is a better boxer by far.

Rigondeaux has only 12 or so fights under his belt professionally... While Floyd has 45. Now what is interesting is the fact Rigondeaux looks just as fluid defensively as Mayweather. Rigondeaux has a lot more to show, and it will be interesting if he starts too come in harder offensively!

So while ill give it to Floyd, I would not be surprised if Rigondeaux changes a lot of people's mind on this subject!
