Well, I bought up Floyd as an example of someone who don't ko anyone yet don't get penalized for it. So JMM koing Pac shouldn't equal more than Pac outpointing JMM 3 times.

Pac beat Barrera when Barrera was no1 p4p in many peoples opinions. JMM barely beat Barrera.

Yes, Pac blowing everyone away on a 7 year win streak has to count for something.

I can see pac beating everyone of marquez's wins.

But i find it hard to see marquez beating 145 cotto, or 150 margo.

No. One spectacular KO doesn't make you greater than the guy who was beating everyone they put infront of him to a pulp. I have a lot of respect for Marquez and think he happens to be the better boxer of the two but Marquez is not greater. Pacquiao not only has better wins but he's had a bigger impact on the sport.

Of course JMM isnt greater than Pac, most sane people will tell you that. Pac has been p4p for how many years as well as being FOTD.
              That must count for something?

Styles make fights. Pacquiao is still greater than Marquez due to his overall achievements and victories but Marquez KOing Pacquiao was a huge win for for any fighter. Pacquiao still has a crazy resume if you drop down to his career back at flyweight and going forward. Can you believe he held the WBC Flyweight belt via KO win?

Against each other, well, the Memo trained JMM ktfo Pac. But if you take out the 4th fight and just the first 3 fights, both are close. Giving the edge to Pac due to knockdowns and i think he did a little bit better. But as we know, The reality is the Memo trained JMM sealed it with his KO over Pac. So against each other, JMM.

As far as resume/career wise, it goes to Pacquiao. Take each other out of their fights, then look at their opponents.
Pac: Sasakul, Lehwaba, MAB, Morales, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and Marg. And even if it is an official defeat, Pac did beat Bradley. He did lost to Morales.
JMM: MAB, Juarez, Casamayor, Diaz, and Katsidis. Lost to Floyd and Chris John. Now a few say that JMM was robbed against CJ but i read some media report saying the fight was closer but did not say JMM was rob. Even against MAB, some viewed the fight as closed and some had MAB winning.
