World Boxing Association Bantamweight "Super Champion" Anselmo 'Chemito' Moreno (34-2-1, 12 KOs) of Panama and his long-time adviser, Sampson Lewkowicz, say they have no objections to WBA Regular Bantamweight Champion Koki Kameda's request for an interim fight, provided he and Moreno have their mandatory fight later this year or early in 2014.

"The WBA gave us 30 days to negotiate with Kameda Promotions to arrange the mandatory fight between Moreno and Kameda, but Kameda has requested an interim fight before he faces Moreno," explained Lewkowicz, "we will agree to not interfere with that request, provided the fight is arranged in good faith for December or January.

Moreno could outbox and beat Santa Cruz IMO. He should have taken that fight, more money than a Kameda fight and with a win, bigger opportunities. But Sampson knows what he's doing, maybe the offer wasn't very good. Anselmo doesn't want to give up that WBA belt for anything it seems
