Wilfredo 'Papito' Vazquez Jr. returns to his roots Friday evening. The second generation former champion is back at the Kissimmee Civic Center and on Telemundo for his ring return as he faces unbeaten Guillermo Avila in a scheduled 12-round regional title fight.
The bout marks Vazquez Jr's first fight since suffering at upset loss at the hands of Yasutaka Ishimoto earlier this year in Macao. The former 122 lb. titlist has lost three of his last five contests.
