According to the World Boxing Council, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) will have to drop one of his WBC titles before the end of 2013. Mayweather captured the WBC title at 147 last September with a TKO victory over Victor Ortiz, and last Saturday he won the WBC's belt at 154 with a twelve round decision over Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. The WBC is going to have a meeting next week and Mayweather's two titles will be one of items being discussed.

Floyd has too many options. He's too boss for them to control

If he decides to fight twice at 154 the next year, the wbc 147 belt will idle and generating them no revenue

even if he fights in both divisions next year, one title will be idle for the first half of the year. the sooner you get your revenue, the better
