Maidana struggled with an old Morales. But, equally, Broner was arguably beaten by Ponce de leon. If Ponce can trouble him then Maidana can too. Broner is skillful but people give him too much praise. He's beat up a lot of smaller guys, and the time he stepped up in weight he struggled against Malignaggi, who's not exactly the best WW out there.

i have no problem with a fighter acting overconfident and arrogant...but Broner can't even pull it off. He's corny and sounds like a nerd trying to be cool. He plays himself every time he opens that mouth.
