The sport of boxing and the city of Phoenix lost someone very special in Alexis Urbina. Alexis was a 2013 USA Boxing National Champion and USA National representative at 141 lbs. The 17-year-old national champion was found dead after being found severely beaten in his family's south Phoenix home and police are investigating the case as a homicide. Authorities say Urbina died of his injuries Thursday at a hospital.

Phoenix police say the teen was found unconscious and covered in blood in the family's living room about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. They say there was no obvious sign of forced entry into the house, but Urbina's family says some of his boxing memorabilia is missing. Just Another Example Of This World's MORAL DECAY; No Jealousy, No Grudge...Just Thugs

South Phoenix.... right in the heart of the ******, the hood, the toughest neighborhood in Phoenix Metro. These stories are disgusting, preventable. Just Gangsters, thugs. The kid was only 17. Everybody wants to be a gangster, listening to vulgar rap music, walking the streets like an authority, treating women horribly. Just a war zone of thugs. You can see by much of the language used on this website, how immoral this country is getting. Everyone is a badass. This kid was trying to be credible in life, trying to make something of himself positive. It starts with saying the rong things to the uneducated... then the threats, then the vindication, then getting territorial.... then violent crimes with no remore; they had nothing going for them in life, and they'll blame their childhood, their upbringing. At some point, YOU need to be held accountable.
