The fight will be carried as part of Solo Boxeo by UNIMAS. It has been confirmed that Fuentes (17-1-1, 8 KOs) vs. De la Rosa will have the interim-WBO junior flyweight title at stake because full champion Donnie Nietes is out with an injury and his return is not expected for several months. Earlier this year, Fuentes and Nietes fought to a draw.
