California-based Mexican prospect Jose Zepeda (15-0, 13KOs) has signed a promotional agreement with Zanfer Promotions. Zepeda won his last nine fights by knockout and he is trained by Robert Alcazar, the former trainer of Oscar De La Hoya. Zepeda's debut with Zanfer is going to take place on a date in September or October, and the venue is likely going to be in Tijuana, Mexico. No opponent has been named, but a ranked contender is very possible.
