Didn't deserve to be a dominating decision. Glad compubox bore that out, Pulev landed only a few more total punches than Thompson. Thompson dominated the first rounds, the middle rounds were very close, the late rounds were stronger Pulev. The judges were real biased, this was much closer than the scorecards had it. I had it 5/4/3, with Pulev winning by one round. Thompson is slightly better than Pulev, except that he's 42 and gassed out as the fight progressed. Still, great fight, two masters at work. Pulev has now beaten a legit top 10 fighter, is undefeated, and has earned a shot at the title. -
Pulev only took over when Thomspson gassed, he had a dead man in front of him for the last 4 and didn't know how to close the show.Comment
