Lol he said Garcia is not a very good boxer when they asked him about Garcia's movement.

Its true and quite frankly idk why you would ask that. Garcia comes in that ring with 2 two ton cinder blocks on his feet.

good interview, still people believe lucas is overconfident and is taking the fight for granted.

If anything, he's too humble. From a technical standpoint, Garcia is ****ing trash. One of the worst belt holders we currently have in the sport. The funny thing is that everybody that's picking him to beat Matthysse will find some way to avoid giving Lucas his props after the fight.

People are banking on Garcia landing the counter left and hurting Matthyse... First off I think Garcia's power is overrated, and secondly I don't think he's going to land that counter left as easy as people think.

Ive said this all a long and will stand by it. Garcia's defense is his ability to stand his ground, take shots, and deliver his offense. He is not hard to hit, and he's not going to be able to stand his ground if Matthysse hits him. It's just a horrible style match up all around for Garcia. He has little chance to win.

I really don't see how Garcia can win but at the same time this is boxing and anything can happen. I feel it's a competitive fight and he who makes mistakes will pay dearly. What about stage fright? Some boxers feel that and before they know it, they are on the canvass. Didn't that happen to Mares last night? Mares was supposed to win easily and boum, a good hook and he was out of there. I would like Matthysse to win but Garcia is totally capable of winning too. Good luck to both of them and I hope this one leads to a trilogy and to tons of money for their families.

Kinda want Garcia to win just because everyone keeps ****ting on him.........on the other hand I'd love to see Matthysse win so he can move up to 147 lbs. After a light touch to test the waters, a fight between Matthysse and someone like Thurman would be great!

Couldnt agree more. Matthysse is giving him all the respect he deservs, which isnt much. When asked about Garcia Lucas broke it down nicely "He throws that left hook of his while closing his eyes and not even looking. I dont think a good boxers does thart. Other than that he opens wide and he si slow". Garcia's so called strategy is pretty simple. Stand in front of the boxer, take damage trying to time his left hook. He's somewaht tough, but Judah exposed how he just runs out of gas and his face starts falling appart. With a technically better opponent like Matthysse, one that alos punches like a sledgehammer the outcome isnt likely to be good for Garcia.
Its not hate, its not shtting on Garcia in any way, its just what it is there for everyone to see.
