Guillermo Rigondeaux's future has been in limbo since his April 13th career defining victory over Nonito Donaire. The WBA/WBO super bantamweight king was offered a return date of September 28th, potentially against Chris Avalos, but turned the fight down because he wasn't given enough time to hold a full training camp. On a recent edition of BoxingScene Radio, the Cuban said that he hopes to return to the ring in November.
"I am ready to get in the ring now and start training full speed. I should be ready to go by November. At the time (the fight was offered), they didn't give me enough notice. As a champion I should be given the proper time to prepare for a fight," Rigondeaux explained.
